Coachella Valley Firebirds Insider

For the inaugural season of Coachella Valley Firebirds' hockey in 2022-23, I had the pleasure of serving as "Firebirds Insider." The 32nd team of the American Hockey League, and minor league affiliate of the NHL's Seattle Kraken, the Firebirds made their debut in the desert's new, state-of-the-art Acrisure Arena in late '22, and represent the first-ever full-time pro sports franchise in the Palm Springs' area.

My work for the team includes hosting the monthly "Fire & Ice Podcast," and penning two articles per month over the course of the maiden season.

Come the 2023-24 sophomore season, the team again hired me as their "Insider," producing one article and two episiodes of "Fire & Ice" per month.
